I was thinking that an average wind for the flight may be useful in the PLOG. This could be displayed as an actual heading and velocity or simply the average wind component e.g. +10 for headwind or -10 tailwind.
This average wind for the route could also be used to calculate the maximum drift which is useful in case of a diversion.
What does everyone else think?
